Room status and lifecycle
Active, locked, and archived — what each status means and when to use them.
Active
The default state. Contributors can still submit and replace files. Your dashboard shows live progress. You can edit items, add contributors, and export at any time.
Locked
Submissions are closed. Contributors can still open their link and view what they submitted, but they can't replace or add files. Use this once you've made your final export and don't want any last-minute changes.
Archived
The room is hidden from your main dashboard view. The data is still there — you can un-archive at any time. Use archiving to keep your dashboard tidy after an event is done.
NoteArchived rooms count toward your active room limit on the Free plan. If you've hit the 3-room limit, archive a finished room to free up a slot.
